Once he's given it should be a red that.

Not convinced there was enough in it mind.
Not a fan of the whole triple punishment thing. Would've made 10 men for Lincoln, penalty (possibly a goal) and him missing a match, for what was essentially a shirt pull and nudge out of the box. Would've been incredibly harsh.
Sort of see where you're coming from. But given the point is stop cynical fouls and taking your chances they'll miss the pen I can see the point. Maybe fairer to get rid of the suspension instead. Though then presumably you'd have the same issue 80mins+. I guess the answer is don't pull shirts in the box!

You can't pull someone's shirt in the box especially when they're goal side. At first I thought he dived but on replay it's as clear as day. Kacha playing superb has to be said, if only he had a hint of a goal threat.

There’s been a lot of shirt-pulling, so I suppose that penalty is justice. Striker goal-side and the lino would’ve had a great view of that shirt being pulled from his back.

Some lovely build-up, but lacking that final ball in many cases. That right-hand side looks vicious for us. Hope we can make it count.

Charles was different gravy after his goal. Long may that heady arrogance continue.

We’ve played well and up to the box are superb. When we get to the final third we look a bit clueless. It’s the same old. For our play we should look like scoring a bag full. But we don’t.

Hard to explain why though I guess the trigger pullers who can score half chances are sat on the bench which explains some of it. And probably won’t get back in quickly given the work rate of the front two. There is a case for Sadlier to get a decent run as Bradley looks very off the pace presumably after his sickness bug.

Is the ref looking for a two-yellows on Williams?

Ffs. He's not as bad as some make out. He adds a lot. But that is hapless.

Complete opposite to last season when we were free-scoring but had a porous defence.

Since we seemingly can't have both, I'm glad we have got an ultra-solid backline on the whole thos season.

Not sure which I prefer.

We look very close to getting a second. I'd be surprised if theres not another goal in this one.

Time for some subs i'd've thought. Not that anyone particularly deserves it. Maybe MJ Williams to come off as a result of that yellow?

Why isn’t Charles shooting there when it’s on his other foot?

We've had a number of fouls that've looked like dives here. Hardly surprising the ref isn't giving us much when our players hit the deck. Genuinely think some of these are fouls but you can understand where the ref is coming from.

Looks a sore one for their forward. No need for him to go down in that manner, clearly looking like a bad injury.

Nice to see that the subs have made a good contribution today. Dempsey, despite not being involved in the goal has been great.

What a save by Trafford.

No real progress made in terms of the table. Portsmouth losing out in top half fixture against Ipswich. Still 5 behind with a game in hand. Very much on track with the joint second best defence in all the leagues (behind Preston).

A comfortable win. We played well. Charles had his best game of the season so far and looked dangerous. Thomasson and Williams continue to dominate the middle. Santos and the entire defense had a good games. Trafford didn't have much to do but concentrated to the end to make that wonderful save. I thought that both Dempsey and Bod looked sharp when they came on. A soft penalty but a penalty nonetheless as Kacha was away and had his shirt pulled. He and Charles are always looking to go down under the slightest touch. Not complaining as its the way strikers now play, but there were a couple of occasions that I thought they could score if they stayed on their feet.

The teams above us keep winning so its important that we also do so. It will be a league with two Divisions within it. Lets keep beating the teams below us and not lose to those above.
