His stubbornness with this formation is going to cost him his job at this rate.
We are playing 433. FFS.
Are we??

Barnsley beating us in second gear. They are an organised committed side who know what they are doing. Work it wide put delivery into the box.

They are everything we are not. They can defend. They know their roles. They are physical when they need to be.

We are shocking. All over the park. I will say Sadlier and Bradley exempted the rest look like they’d rather be somewhere else. So would I.

That pathetic excuse for a captain is clearly the reason we have to play 3 at the back. To cover up his deficiencies. Bradley trying hard. But lacks any quality. And outside the first few games it’s clear he’s not end product. Sadlier lively. Trying. Offside too often.

Charles utterly woeful up front. A midget. Dapo looks uninterested. In his natural position he looks like he cannot be bothered.

Midfield dysfunctional and clearly can’t manage without MJ. Morley nice on the ball. Invisible off it. Thomason no impact. Lee poor like last week.

I said system wasn’t helping but it’s not a magic switch and today has shown that. All over the place. Lack of commitment. Lack of organisation. It’s worrying. We look like a relegation side not a top 6 side. Barnsley showing the standard and are far from their top gear.

Yes. Clear as day. Sadlier Dapo and Charles the front three. Jones and Santos the back two.

It’s been wank though. Questions need asking of Evatt. Cos once again after a bright start we have no chance of being a top 6 side. God knows what he does but it’s soul destroyingly awful. It’s like he falls out with half the team and has to rebuild each January. This squad is way better than it’s showing on the pitch. As bloke in front has said doesn’t matter who plays if they look this disinterested and unorganised you will be beat week in week out.

Not sure how much room he actually has to do a Jan rebuild, without a fair few on the revolving door. But like you say, we've seen this group of players play very well.

Whilst I'm sure some will point to a fairly uneventful summer, it feels like we've stagnated a fair bit, rather than pushing on.

That said we were happily sliding down towards 22nd? This time last year..

Why should he be allowed to sign a load of players he won’t play?

If we don't score in the next fifteen minutes they'll park the bus and goodbye. Not sure why we bought Jon Bod except to sit on a bench. We'd have been better signing Merlin.

Indeed. 4-3-3 vs 3-5-2.

I see we've had the lion's share of possession again. 🙄

Proper community club. Saving us unnecessary expense on the FA Cup with the current economic climate being what it is.
