Or perhaps he's in talks elsewhere, which is exactly where I'd be.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 11:50 amMorley's ill. No Sadlier at all in the squad? Perhaps he's ill too

What are the rules around the fixture in midweek? I suspect the inclusion of Khumbeni and Sithole today may be a result of player eligibility for Tuesdays fixture and was just curious.
Been relatively impressed with Khumbeni in his previous outing so its nice to see him getting a chance to come off the bench.

Shame about Sadlier. Probably ill?Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 11:50 amMorley's ill. No Sadlier at all in the squad? Perhaps he's ill too
Sadlier's got the feeling of Andranik about him. Seemingly good but not in favour? That being said Sadlier's got 1 assist in 15 league one matches. Given that its off the bench he's only played 196 mins, so an assist in just over 2 games which seems a good return.
And... we're down 1-0 to Shrewsbury. Terrible defending yet again at the start of a match. Someone did suggest we'd go a goal down and be 1-0 down after 75 mins. History repeating.

We’ve got injuries and illness. But anyone who doesn’t look at the teams we still can put out and doesn’t think there is something seriously wrong with our performance levels needs testing.
We are underperforming badly in games and on a regular basis.

Would be nice if when we conceded early we were actually a threat in these opening 15.
Last time we scored in the opening 15 was against Charlton in September (after also scoring early against Crewe). Santos did score early in the Barnsley game, but that was in our own net...

Nicely worked goal...

Kieran Lee's a class act. Gets clocked in the face on 23 mins and rides it off like its nothing and gets a pass off. Some not so classy players would've gone down holding their face on that one.

They’d only count as qualifying players for Tuesday’s game if they’d started today. I guess there’s a few first team players out through illness hence why B teamers have been drafted in.Mar wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 12:29 pmWhat are the rules around the fixture in midweek? Good to know. I thought it was just inclusion in the game regardless of whether it was a sub or not.brommers95 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 1:17 pmThey’d only count as qualifying players for Tuesday’s game if they’d started today. I wish we had more of a scrap about us. I always fear we'll lose possession when we're in a close quarters battle and the ball is pinging off feet and shins. I've seen us lose too many of those – and the Shrewsbury goal came from one of those lost battles.

Poor first half. We looked ragged and physically weak. Got in level due to a very well worked goal but barely threatened before or since.
Much better 2nd half needed.

I see our striker who offers little scored again.
Needs to stop that or he'll get a reputation.

Proper scrappy game this. We should be 2-1 up (that Lee deflected effort looked like it should've been finished).
Not quite peak Bolton, but we definitely look threatening.
