How the west was won..Away to Shrewsbury sat, 10-12-22. 12-30.

Early reminder amongst all the high and mighty of football world, we have a 12-30 (midday)kick off on Saturday. Bordering us and Welsh Wales, Shrewsbury are directly mid-table yet only six points below us so we can expect a tough fixture. John Bod looks to be fit to play (Bolton News) but our Skipper will be sadly missed for a while it seems. A win here may cheer big Ric up some, so do it for the Captain lads. We have to keep winning every game, and our last fifteen minutes supercharged rallying calls can't last forever. Let's lead from the front for a change. Westward Ho.... :oyea:

I predict 1-0 to them, with 20 minutes to go. The result, I'm less certain about...

Not a slight in any way on JDB, but I didn't notice a significant change in the way we played (nor the likelihood of us scoring), swapping Charles for JDB although obviously that only lasted 55 minutes. As ever we looked most likely to score in the last 10 when the cavalry appeared, so I'll probably log in at 14:00 and have missed a 4-3 to us game, that then peters out...

Yeah agreed re JDB - he is a better hold up player than Charles so would start on that basis. Baka was very much off the shoulder of the last man as well - he’s no more than a sub when we are chasing IMO.

JDB out for a while with a quite serious broken nose.

Thomason worse with a dislocated knee and ligament damage.

Not great.

The way Thomason went down it looked a shocker (and gave me PTSD!). Pretty sure they walked him back around instead of a stretcher too which I hoped at the time meant it wasn't as bad as I'd thought but now seems...rogue. #notadoctor

Think there prone to pop again, like shoulders, as well. A real shame. After thinking he'd never make it he showed real signs this year there might be a player there. Hopefully he's back soon.

Mad how in 1 week we have lost our top centre half, regular centre mid and best centre forward to pretty long term injuries. Be a tough month this.

So now we should see the benefit of a strong squad. A tragic time injury wise, but time for the wanna-be's to step up to the plate and prove the "Come the hour, cometh the man( read men) " legend applies to our good selves and aren't just empty words. Come forth Monsieurs Charles, Bakayoko, Kachunga, Sadlier. Toale and co and fight the good fight. COME ON YOU WHITES... :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

Got tickets for this and stopping down there. Watch it get bloody postponed now! I'm told the fanzone opens in the morning due to the early kick off. The thought of stood outside in the cold, drinking over priced fizz at half ten in the morning isn't making the game any more appealing.

0-2 defeat

Accy have already called theirs.
I think there is a good chance it’s off.

Well it's 24hrs to kick off and just up the road from Shrewsbury in Telford we've got glorious sunshine and a touch of frost.

In days gone it would be on! Fingers crossed as we can’t be doing with another postponement to fit in.

I know an excellent Indian restaurant in Shrewsbury should you be looking for one, old sport.

Cheers. However, my only stipulation for an eating place this evening is central heating and the England match to be on! :D

Morley's ill. No Sadlier at all in the squad? Perhaps he's ill too

The old "January's coming" threadbare squad manoeuvre if you ask me. "Look I've got a bloke with no nose and two kids on the bench!" 😀
