Really hate when Dapo has a day like today. Caught in possession so many times when the simple pass is on.

Think both sides probably take the point from that...

Point was deserved. Would've been nice for Kachunga's moment of magic to pay off but alas, good technique, shame about it being at the keeper.

Ah well. We look very much the part defensively today and had Charles hit the target we would've been walking away with 3 points I suspect.

Second half was better from us. First fifteen minutes especially and then we looked much more secure and in control with MJ on. Obviously we missed Lee’s movement and the first fifteen of the second half he was electric.

Charles missed our best chance.

I’d take encouragement from the second half because I was very concerned with how the first half went but we sorted it and the changes made sure they were never winning it.

Definitely looked better up front with the big lads on. Charles and Dapo both had off days and for me were off the required pace. Would liked to have seen Sadlier on though instead of Kachunga who knows he might have won it for us?

Liked the way the back 5 played. Very strong, particularly Johnson and Iredale. Toal looked pacey and solid also. Bradley our best attacking threat. Aimson solid. Can Santos and Jones get back in? A good well earned point for both teams who battled hard for it. Just need that extra quality in midfield and up front. Not far off.

Certainly based on the available evidence thus far, I'd think Toal has earned the right to start ahead of Jones.

I'm not sure why we held out for so long with Barkhuizen in the summer based on what he offered today.

Decent game and fair result.

Got to disagree strongly with Insane. 1st half was even although they finished the stronger. 2nd half more of the same but I thought the attacking subs significantly weakened us. Jon Dadi obviously still nervous about aerial challenges and Bakayoko didn't win any either. Kachunga added some much needed workrate and fresh legs but not enough to break the deadlock.

Toal, Bradley, Lee and Charles were all great. Johnston motm for me.

A lot of the game bypassed Sheehan, and Morley didn't stamp his authority on the game. Trafford had a couple of shaky moments but largely solid. I do wish though that he'd distribute the ball a bit quicker behind teams who throw men forward like they did.

Reading the Derby home report you'd think only one team turned up. I can understand bias, but only when it's ours. We need to get something from the return game though. The top three are putting distance between the rest, but we need to keep trying. Today's was no bad result, all considered.

Draw a fair result but if either team edged it it was us. Looking at you Dion.

We still look slightly caught between two stools for me. If you're playing Sheehan and Lee you need to trust them with the ball. Derby pressed well but we didn't really get them on the ball and then they're so easy to play through off the ball, Sheehan in particular.

If we could find that golden number 9 we'd be a top two side, but everyone wants them.

Toal looked decent, and is quicker than he looks. GJ motm for me though, comfortably. Aimson and Bradley v good too.

Point was a fair result - they missed a couple of good chances as well as Dion missing the best chance of the match - what a move that was as well!

Lee tired, which was a shame. Thought Dapo was patchy - he had some decent spells then went off the ball. Ultimately to go 343 at the end I would have liked to have seen him and Sadlier flank JDB.

If we can upgrade on Dion, Iredale and probably Dempsey we could really push on. Will be tough though.

Just seen Bradley won motm…made too many mistakes for me - thought any of the 3 Centre halves had better games to be honest…
