I suspect they'll also be keen to show they can get by without Whittaker - and as our guest notes, if Azaz is back on the bench that's a boon for them.
Hopefully, they'll overcompensate and try too hard in that area, thus creating space and opportunities for us to exploit.

Might need an Insano pessiprediction to get something out of this game I think. :D

Will take a draw, be over the moon with a win and be slightly miffed with a loss.

COYWM!!

One thing I know in football, the "ball is round" for both sides so as a player, fear no one. We are at home and should attack them. Playing the league leaders is a big motivation and a good marker as to where we are. We are no longer a "soft" team with people like Toal, Aimson and Dempsey in the team, and I expect us to give as much as we get. Looking forward to it.

Top of the league. They've won last 4 fixtures against us and we've not beaten them since 1993. Jones playing doubly out of position. Dapo suspended.

They are going to beat us again. They are just too organised and strong and no doubt we'll 'outplay them' and lose 2-0. Again.

They had an ageing Peter Shilton in goal that day as their player manager. 3 years after he'd been shown to be too old for International football, yet still 2 years away from him appearing in goal for us!

Matete has just signed for Plymouth - presumably too late to play tomorrow but that’s a good signing. I had these as not lasting the distance but suspect I’ll be revising that prediction.

Expect Azaz to be on the bench, but whitakers place to be taken by callum wright who we have signes from Blackpool. Was with us preseason before signing for blackpool from leicester. Matate is available

Remember it. The first home game post Anfield. Rioch was truly gutted as to how few had bothered to turn up.
Shilton's still on his way down for the penalty 😊

My dearest wish after winning today would be to see the headline "Everybody's talking about Bolton!" A real opportunity for the Whites to "Carpe diem,". Maybe the toughest feature we'll face this season, but seizing the day is not beyond us. A win by any which way. Keep the faith then, to battle and COME ON YOU WHITES.. :Jedi:

Ming the Merciless (Randell Williams) straight into the line up over Jones, Sadlier and Beck. Must've made quite the impression prior to signing if he feels its that much of an improvement.

Beck doesn't look up to it (yet?) and the others are out of position so it seems to make sense getting someone natural in that position.

Happy with the line up, hopefully we'll be up for this. Plymouth need taking down a notch if we're harboring hopes of upsetting the title race.

I really feel there's some sort of response to this, just not sure what it might be...

No doubt this will be the scene at Southampton on Monday should that happen.
