Can we get it moved to a decent ground?

We'll have to move to a neutral ground if we want to play on a decent pitch.

Obviously the term "preventive maintenance"doesn't figure too largely on our agenda.I'm really surprised that a fine pitch like ours should get to this stage when it could have been done mid-season. Rugby and pop concerts have obviously not helped, neither has the rain, but it is a football club first and foremost and that must surely be the priority? .

Reasonable TD. Couple of things. As I understand it, some of the pitch usage was "agreed" prior to FV taking over, but I guess the other side is if they help to pay the bills, do we mind much.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 11:40 amObviously the term "preventive maintenance"doesn't figure too largely on our agenda.I'm really surprised that a fine pitch like ours should get to this stage when it could have been done mid-season. It needs to be replaced at the cost of about £600k.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 11:40 amObviously the term "preventive maintenance"doesn't figure too largely on our agenda.I'm really surprised that a fine pitch like ours should get to this stage when it could have been done mid-season.
Probably why we've let it go on as long as possible.
