Yep. All that. Like Dapo, he's good for 4-2-3-1 but limited/erratic in other systems. I still wonder whether we could have fashioned a front three with Bod in front of Daps and Sads, but the moment has gone.

Woke up this morning thinking "the brown brown grass of home" Not at all funny, not even jokingly, it just made me laugh.

Right then. Match day. Straight into them, clean sheet, 3-0 Wanderers.
My lad is still upset about Dapo, so new heroes please.

He's probably not far of Shortire's age, height and weight - they could almost go to school together. Get them a bag of conkers. Be Reet...GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 9:54 amRight then. Match day. Straight into them, clean sheet, 3-0 Wanderers.

Everything suggests a comfortable home win, but then 50% o their clean sheets this season have come against us
no stupid early goals against us and we should win, albeit with a bit of frustration throughout. The new boy will be important tonight, as we really have lacked creativity in midfield against teams who try to limit our space
2-0 wanderers

Three points means we have won. The why's and wherefor's I'll live with.

Trafford
Toal Santos Johnston
Morley Dempsey
Bradley Beck
Shoretire
Charles Nlundulu
Is what I would go with, barring any unknown fitness issues. I'd like to see Santos alongside the two incumbents at wide centre back, Randy sounds like he could do with a few extra days rest, and Shola should get a chance to show he can unlock doors against a team likely to sit deep.

I'd go Sads for Conor unless Conor is 100%. Otherwise agree. Get the game won then make changes to rest legs up top and in the middle.

Sorry to say lads the kettle is not available tonight as I won't be home and the young French reserve, La Caffetiere, is not ready for first brew duties

Nice balance about that team and I do think he'll use today as an opportunity to re-integrate Santos into the middleThe_Gun wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 3:40 pmTrafford

It's time to head out to the inevitable banana skin. 3-0 Bolton.

Nlundulu is out with a hamstring.
So it’s Kacha and Dion up front.
Declan John makes the bench. Which probably describes how bare bones we are.

Yeah and not a single centre forward on the bench (and you could argue only one on the pitch with Kachunga playing )BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 6:46 pmNlundulu is out with a hamstring.

Surprised Randy starts as he's played a lot of football recently for someone whose last competitive game before joining us was a 34 minute sub appearance back in October.

Something tells me that we're going to see Baka play in a system that might suit his physicality. Going to be interesting to watch Santos and him battle it out.
