Without him, we'd have won more comfortably - He's shit and I hope he never plays for us again.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 10:46 pmThat in a nutshell just sums you up.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 10:44 pmIt was an absolute brave heart performance from the 9 remaining outfield players (not Kachunga he was a disgrace and deserved the boos and cannot ever play for us again).
Without him, we might not have scored tonight. How's that for a paradox?
I accept idiocy with the red card. It happens.
I don't accept him moping about afterwards like a mard arse. Hard work is the absolute minimum expectancy from a footballer. It's not even something you should bring praise, but he even failed on that.

This. And the gaslighting to pretend what we could all see with our own eyes didn't happen is pretty ridiculous.boltonboris wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 9:28 amWithout him, we'd have won more comfortably - He's shit and I hope he never plays for us again.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 10:46 pmThat in a nutshell just sums you up.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 10:44 pmIt was an absolute brave heart performance from the 9 remaining outfield players (not Kachunga he was a disgrace and deserved the boos and cannot ever play for us again).

We won with him though. Many are forgetting that. He continued as he started and continued to defend with the team. Watch the replay on ifollow, his body language is no different to Shoretire. Using this as an excuse to satisfy a dislike of him is out of order. He was in the side due to injuries and despite all the hate was directly involved in the goal. The goal that contributed to the win. His actions are inexcusable and will be rightly punished. To say he moped about is simply wrong. He and Shortire worked well up to half time and did give the defence some respite.boltonboris wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 9:28 amWithout him, we'd have won more comfortably - He's shit and I hope he never plays for us again.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 10:46 pmThat in a nutshell just sums you up.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 10:44 pmIt was an absolute brave heart performance from the 9 remaining outfield players (not Kachunga he was a disgrace and deserved the boos and cannot ever play for us again).

I don't condone his actions but to see this reaction says all you need about some fans. There's a real nasty undertone with some players. It's a game ffs. We know he might not the best but he's one of ours.

Has it? From where? He was popular last night for his work. Lad is struggling with fitness but looks quality - he just isn't ready to be being played for the periods he's being asked.
I didn't see or hear any criticism of him. He was giving absolutely everything even if he was not playing that well generally.

I wasn't there last night but was personally disappointed with the booing. Did it generally come from 'Oooo, we're hard' corner, or was it more a general thing?
I'm very much in the - yes, yes, you pays your money and all that camp, and although it's been a close-run thing with both Moxey and Beckford, I just couldn't ever see myself booing one of our own.

Quite a few in the West Lower, mainly early in the game and a decent number on social media.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:11 amHas it? From where? He was popular last night for his work. I think he might have done his hamstring. Which would be bad. I feel we're pushing new players too hard - that's another peril of January additions. He needs a bit more rotation IMHO.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:15 amQuite a few in the West Lower, mainly early in the game and a decent number on social media.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:11 amHas it? I obviously couldn't here him, but when he came off Evatt asked him about his hamstring (could see the gestures) and he shrugged, shook his head and seemed to say "No problem."BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:16 amI think he might have done his hamstring. Which would be bad.
Hopefully I saw that right, but you're right that he did look wonky.
Not as bad as Bradley, who could barely walk by the end.

Look, some people on here are clearly annoyed with Insane; but there's no need for that.

Yeah I think we need a wingback if Evatt isn't prepared to use Sadlier/Beck more often.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:18 amI obviously couldn't here him, but when he came off Evatt asked him about his hamstring (could see the gestures) and he shrugged, shook his head and seemed to say "No problem."BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:16 amI think he might have done his hamstring. I'd never boo someone for being shit (you're welcome, Darren).
Even when they're sent off for doing something shit, usually the blood is pumping and in the ground you don't know exactly how bad/thick it is at the time.
This was a rare occasion when everyone had had chance to see it back, knew what he'd done, and that we'd lost Dion because of it.
I wouldn't have done it, and I don't like particular like it, but hopefully it's a one off reaction, let him know he's been a dickhead. The worry is it turns into one of those running battles which isn't beyond a certain section of the fanbase.
Randy is already getting pelters on Twitter. No idea how big a section it is.
He's not been great so far, but you really can't overemphasise the need to get up to speed. Especially given it seems hard running looks a pretty big part of his game.

It's Dions fault by the way. He was the one whinging to the linesman about being elbowed after scoring. Made the linesman put on his jamjars and take a closer look. We could have got away with allsorts.

We're great at inspiring the people we have out on the pitch. I don't get booing our players (albeit I made an exception for a manager ). Just feels entirely counter-productive at a point where we need every advantage we can take, when as lots of observers have mentioned in passing, that we're up against it up front with injuries.

And the fans were great last night. They responded to the team and the effort. But fans won't take kindly to someone taking the piss. That's the bottom line. Been the same as long as I've been watching football.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:35 amWe're great at inspiring the people we have out on the pitch. Yes - we did. We shouldn't be booing our own. I don't care how long it might have been going on.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:47 amAnd the fans were great last night. Gerald Cid was never jeered nor was Mario Jardel. A mild huff or roll of the eyes maybe.
