There have. Only eight times previously has the total attendance exceeded 60k, though. Should be a hell of an atmosphere!

I've got it down as 64k+ at the minute. 30k from ourselves and 34k from Plymouth. So you'd suspect it'd be more than that, as those were figures from earlier today but it's looking good nonetheless.

What did surprise me after some googling, was that its a shorter distance from Bolton to Wembley than it is from Plymouth to Wembley:

Bolton -> Wembley (3hr 10 min -> 4hr 10 min, 206 miles)
Plyouth -> Wembley (4hr 10 min, 214 miles)

Time estimations based upon getting to Wembley for 2pm on Sun 2nd April.

There’ll be 7-8000 community tickets too, for sponsors friends and families, local charities and sports organisations in North London etc.

Wembley hold 89997 (I think) so giving 76000 to supporters leaves a lot of freebies they’ll shift to make up the numbers

Looking at past finals you add on about 5-6K on top of the tickets clubs shift. This ain’t no FA Cup.

Given we’ve got two weeks without a lot of football action how about we do some ‘Wembley memories’?

I think I’ve been to see Bolton play at Wembley (old and new) 7 times and have to this point only seen 1 win. Reading. What a win it was of course. But still. Bristol City, Tranmere, Liverpool, Watford, Villa and of course Stoke were all long days ending in varying degrees of disappointment.

I sadly missed Torquay and I’m racking my brain to remember why but think it might be to my shame that I was on holiday at the time.

I’ve only ever seen one England game in Wembley but feel relatively lucky it was the England Scotland Euro 96 game. If you are picking one then that. I guess.

Seen England win at Wembley 3-0 against Georgia (Shearer, indirect freekick into the roof of the net) in the late 90’s. My dad won tickets and we bunked off school for a couple of days.

I’ve been to Wembley watching Bolton on 5 occasions and haven’t yet seen us win.
