Also seems incredibly harsh to be forcing Dad Bod to perform a sex act during the photo….give the man a break!

There's every possibility he might've had to go for some treatmemt. They very deliberately waited for him to hobble over for the lifting of the trophy a few minutes earlier.

There's every possibility he might've had to go for some treatmemt. They very deliberately waited for him to hobble over for the lifting of the trophy a few minutes earlier.

I doubt there was any treatment forthcoming. They had found him a protective boot. Or maybe that’s what they were doing during that photo. Seems a little harsh to not have him in there. I blame Cosgrove.

Just watched the ITV highlights - a very pleasurable way to spend 45 minutes. I was wrong - it was Geth's goal, not Kacha's, that had them all pointing at the scorer.

And one other thought for now - BWFCi floated the idea of Kacha becoming the new DeFreitas... well there was something about the way Kacha hit across that ball while sort of falling over that took me back almost three decades... just a little...

Wheats was there with his whole family. Just shows the affection these lads have for us. Yes I’m sure they were all on corporate or official club invites but still. You don’t need to go and certainly don’t need to take your whole family with you. Superb to see them all.

Yeah. I’m sure every club thinks it’s special but there seems down the years to be such a bond, across several ownership/management/squad eras. McGinlay talks about it, then you’ve got Campo and SKD and Wheater above, and look at how unified the squad seems now. The young loanees! “We love you”. #OnceInNeverOut

Tactically we went quite 'direct'. Doesn't mean we played long balls - we did not. But we built off the front two and the running from the wingbacks and midfield. We went for the jugular. Not lots of sideways stuff.

I know its a big pitch and Plymouth were accommodating but still. I'd like to see more like that for the rest of the season.

Yep - the gaps were there to exploit and we were happy to do so. Especially notable second half - when Traf had the ball Bradley would go and stand high and wide, starting five yards offside, while Dion would do the same in the middle, just to pull their defenders about.

But it's not entirely new. Last season we did too much sideways retention. This season we are bang-average in the division for "direct speed" - Opta's style map has us precisely the same as Derby, and very similar to Plymouth and Pompey.

Having watched the whole thing last night, and in fairness to Steve Schumacher's gracious behaviour, a couple of things emerge outside the euphoria, particularly relevant to one or two headline seeking media reports:

1. We didn't "thrash" Plymouth, but played really well against a decent side, the difference being in the scoreline. Those two early goals upset the apple cart grand style and gave us a commanding attitude. That said, all our goals were well taken and the force was well and truly with us. Every white shirt was immense.

Full praise to our defence against a side who , but for knowing the score gave me a few nervous twitches in retrospect. Plymouth were deadly around our box and I'd happily look at a couple of their attackers in a Bolton shirt.

2. I think I can safely say that if we played them again tomorrow, the result would be rather different. This is why we need to be ultra cautious from here on in.

Conclusion: Media reporters and commentators are men out of a job..

Really? I’ve watched it back and think we absolutely battered them all over. Sure goals change games and who knows what happens if their only chance of the game had snuck in past Traffords legs…

But on watchback Plymouth had all the luck. We should have had a penalty. We missed a couple of great chances. They had two clear red cards. Potentially another blatant penalty missed for the push on Kacha late on.

Plymouth had every bit of luck on the day and lost 4-0.

If we play them again it’s another match and of course nowt is guaranteed. But on Sunday we absolutely bettered them in every single position and completely played them off the park.

Add in that Dempsey missed a sitter (besides the 'handball' one) and Dion skied a decent chance, and I don't think the men in green can claim they shaded it.
