Amazing stuff.
English football all over.
What a night it must be for Owls fans.

Jesus wept. Can we just win 3-0 inside 10 mins and done.

Can I just point out that in the three play off games in league one there hasn’t yet been an away win?

Law of averages suggests that one is due? Got good vibes about this, though a large part of me thinks romping the league (D1) next season would be more fun.

2 wins with the result ultimately resulting in a draw.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu May 18, 2023 11:00 pmCan I just point out that in the three play off games in league one there hasn’t yet been an away win?
And one draw.
We will change that tomorrow.

Must win now. Can't have two Yorkie teams in the final. Bolton, Bolton, Bolton...

If we win - we will be underdogs at Wembley just like last time….
If we lose…Wednesday are nailed on to go up now anyway!

Unlike last week, there's just a touch of nerves...and excitement. Bookies don't give us much of a chance (and we're often shorter on the books than we merit). 0-1 is 10-1...hmmmm

Odds tend to get mangled as you get nearer the game and bookies start hedging. V much doubt injury rumours are enough to affect them too much at L1 level so I'd have thought odds on Monday were more representative (since when we've gone out I think).
But I don't like betting on us to win, too many eggs in one basket then

I wonder how much they lost on the Wednesday comeback.

Little or nothing; they all hedge ( lay-off) their bets. You don't find losers and bookies in the same category. I'd settle for Ray Winston's wages instead.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 10:03 amI wonder how much they lost on the Wednesday comeback.

It's a cruel world, Pru. You might want to bet on Barnsley. It makes you feel a bit dirty, but it sure softens the blow!Prufrock wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 10:00 amOdds tend to get mangled as you get nearer the game and bookies start hedging. Oh it's a feeling I know well. Did pretty well financially out of 2018 on
Just wish I'd done it on Monday.
