Looks like both sides happy to see out a 0-0. Keeps our clean sheet record I guess, probably fair on reflection.
Least the ref's had less of an impact in the second half.
Unlucky not to win it. Their keepers had a good game.
Still top of the league. Onto Pompey now.
7 clean sheets in a row.

Perfectly good result. Clean sheet run still going. Draw away at third. Nice.
And I’d say it’s a fair result. I don’t think either side did enough to say they deserved a win.

Thank you Sir for the seat. I'll try and forget what I saw behind the third door!

They will be happier with that than us, which given they have been higher than us most of the season is nothing to be sniffed at. Could do with a win at Pompey now though, and that’s going to be tougher.
Forwards disappointing off the bench again I’m afraid - not changing my mind about where I would be spending in January to get us over the line.

Not a bad result at all. We maintain a 3 point gap to Oxford in 3rd

Thought JDB did a good job coming off the bench. As for N'lundulu, taking off Maghoma really killed our momentum, hard for him to have the same effect when Dempseys offering something different and the players having to adjust.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 9:42 pmThey will be happier with that than us, which given they have been higher than us most of the season is nothing to be sniffed at. The plus side is we've got all players available for the Portsmouth game.

Aye - Stevenage 2-2 Posh is FT, so that's good.

The cleansheet was important. Demps was a clean slate with the referee and got stuck in.
Does anybody know what's up with Williams btw?

Tendonitis isn't it?

Tendonitis was cited at the weekend. Two cup games to play himself back in.

Not enough up front today; Cogley and Iredale wasteful in the final third; a slightly wasted first half. But, have to say that’s a good point: didn’t do enough for the win, but Baxter kept us in it first half and nothing stupid in the second. Good result, but Pompey will be better, and always seem to have lost there of late—I think the last three. Time to put that right.

Anyone wondering why the ref was so keen on giving cards...

Harsh blaming any forwards today. First half we didn’t really get going. Second half we did. We’d have won it with Williams a LWB.
Cogley and Iredale probably show where we lack quality in the squad at times.

I'd say consistency rather than quality as both were outstanding on Saturday.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 9:58 pmHarsh blaming any forwards today. First half we didn’t really get going. Second half we did. We’d have won it with Williams a LWB.

I mean that it’s firstly not really Iredales position. Secondly too big to ask wing backs to play 90 minutes twice in a short space of time. We needed to change them.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 10:00 pmI'd say consistency rather than quality as both were outstanding on Saturday.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 9:58 pmHarsh blaming any forwards today. Overall not unhappy with the point. Not quite sure how we didn't bag between 55-75 minutes. As much as I gave them the 1st half, second was ours overall. Suspect Baxter might have made the better saves in the round.

Thanks D.J.Blu again. Didn't see much of the second half, must be the weather.
