Down to the O-zone. Away to Fleetwood Friday Dec 297h 7-45.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Ah.
L Oxford 2-3 Derby
Yeah Derby are ominous to me, they no doubt have power (or foolishness) to add in January.
Yep, and Warne's a momentum kinda guy. Question is whether they'll cash in on Cashin, etc.

Well, a 2-0 win sees out our new goal scoring record.

Anyone knows what the full total was?

Great result in difficult circumstances
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

Lovely stuff. Kusini Yengi after putting in a game changing performance against us has barely had a sniff for Pompey.

Vic scores our last game in 2023, from a cross; because of course he did.

2nd. Game in hand to go top. 12 points and 2 games in hand clear of "promotion rivals" Blackpool. Another clean sheet on a horrible night.

Fantastic, professional display.

Professional is high praise for us because that’s how you have to be game after game in this league to go up. All we can do is keep doing it.

Great result. Solid performance - should have expected to win given respective league positions, but the added complexity of the weather had the potential to cause an upset.

Another professional display by all - no stand out players for me, but equally no disappointments at all. Good to send Geth off with a couple of very solid performances.
I know he rarely puts in a stellar stand-out performance, but my god he's mr consistent - I'm pleased for him for his call up, but he'll be missed.....

Just done some quick tallying of goals.
Unless I've made a mistake, our new record stands on 113 goals for a calendar year. (+16 if you want to count friendlies).

We've had 10 goals disallowed in that time too. Those unfortunate souls: Morley, Charles x4, Shoretire, Adeboyejo x2, JDC, Nlundulu

We've scored 44 goals this season in 23 games. 20 of them are from "Vic 'n' Dion."

How long is it since we had a genuine strike partnership like that?

Closing in on 2.1 PPG. Almost always gives you promotion.
