Alas poor Yor(i)k, I knew it well. Home v Barnsley, Sat Feb 3rd, 3-0' clock.

South Korea with 70% first-half possession and zero efforts on goal.
More toothless than an octogenarian Glaswegian smackhead, aye.
With Klinsmann managing them, I don't expect anything else but abject failure.

Thought Baccus was pretty impressive again. Always offering a passing option, aware of danger and willing to run.

Fair play. That was a superb double save.

Baxter would have tipped the first one away from danger, though.

I was hoping he'd go and win the tournament but I'll be glad he's back

Gutted for Geth, to be honest. Would have loved him to have that on his CV and as a life experience. However, their fans have been dicks and with him they probably win that match. Both goals came down his side and Korea were as bad as I've ever seen them.

Was thinking the same thing regarding their support, but I suspect that was a vocal minority as opposed to the majority.

Geth won every game he played in and they lost the ones he didn't. Good enough justification for future call ups surely.

Hadn’t seen any animosity from their fans - they not appreciative of Geth?

From what I remember they were being dismissive of his inclusion and saying that there's loads of other players in the aussie league better than him.

Said he was the worst player ever to play for Australia, they wish he'd chosen Wales, hoped his injury was bad, that sort of thing.

Think it was the weirdo A-League internet die hards rather than numbers, but they were plenty vocal.
