If I take Portsmouth top 10 attended home games P10 W5 D3 L2....
Derby top 10 attended homes games P10, W5, D3, L2
Us with more than 20k P10, W5 D3 L2
Barnsley top 10 attended home games P10 W5, D2, L3 - Bottlers!!!!

There's a sorta symmetry about it really.

That's some top quality stattage.

Fully expecting the usual suspect to flounce on and tell us that those stats mean nothing for... well, reasons.

Charles now ruled out for tomorrow.

I suppose Collins and Vic is now most likely, but I’d be somewhat interested to see Collins and CMG.

Haha classic Evatt. Charles is fit…no he’s not. Suspect he will be out a fair while longer going by the fact he has unexplained knee pain.

Sounds like Rico appeal is successful—as it damn well should be.

Need a massive performance from him in particular. Set the tone: play like you’ve been wounded and make amends.

Isn’t it too early to find out re Rico? Surely about 640 tomorrow night is more likely?

If we are as up for it as Wigan we’ll win, cos we have better players.

If it does get overturned it'll be the fourth time IIRC that it's been overturned out of 6. No instance of referees being held accountable for their actions too.

As much as it should be overturned there's a good chance it'll be upheld, given its become a running joke that they may wish to avoid doubling down on.

The FA can't just uphold something because they've overturned loads of our red cards in the past - rules are rules, and they have to follow them. In this instance I would be highly surprised if the red isn't reduced to a booking.

You'd think so but I think we're at the point of farcical with it all so there may be an element of trying to save face.

You'd also suspect that refs can't keep sending Rico off incorrectly but that keeps happening.

I'm expecting the decision to be overturned and no punishment for the ref.

It's honestly one of you worst decisions I've ever seen happen. You just can't send him off.

Evatt ‘Saturday regardless of the refereeing decisions was mostly our fault and we have to own that and improve and we will….’

Yep agree entirely. We have to improve the performances significantly now. They’ve been sub par from too long now and all that happened at Blackpool is half decent side put their chances away. Something if we are honest with ourselves we’ve been asking for, for a fair while now.

Hopefully can press the reset button and find the pre Christmas form.

How has the status of our appeal not been made public yet? Evatt said the club were expecting to hear yesterday.

Dont know the timings but successful appeals are published unsuccessful ones aren’t. So who knows when the panel were sitting. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not till later today tbh.

I'd settle for shit and a win....albeit, I think we need some better performances and improved confidence levels.

So Santos decision overturned and he can play tonight.

Does that mean Evatt will play Toal, Santos and one of Iredale or Forrester and shift Jones to RWB?

I’d guess so.

How many reds does that make that he's had overturned? I can think of at least 2 - this one and the one against Morecambe a couple of seasons back?

Seems "Wise after the event" figures greatly for the Whites. Poses the question; just how much have the sending offs affected our promotion chances? Will the F.A "have a word" in a few ears? :spank: :spank:

Forester surely due a start. Gethins delivery a bit more consistent than Cogley albeit Cogley is a better athlete. I would like to see Ramsey on the bench so we can change this side in the event we go behind with a view to improving creativity.

Didn’t see Saturday but been generally happy with Iredale at left centre back. Toal clearly the preference though and it’s a night to pick the strongest XI and demand they play better than a team below them in the league.

I think Forrester has shown up very well in games where we've had to do a lot of defending, so I'd definitely like to see him come back in.

At LCB is does help to have a left footer for balance, but Toal is overall the better player than Iredale, so not sure who I'd pick.
