How we expected to not think there is an agenda when that c*nt isn't booked for doing that?
How can the referee justify not giving a yellow card there?

Deliberate.

Bodvarsson my scapegoat for today. Two golden chances spurned.

You cheating c*nt referee. The lad has scooped it there and he's bottled it. Absolute shower of shit. Prick.

Ref needs investigating. Bit gutted.

Can blame the ref and he was shit but ultimately wouldn't have mattered had we converted one of those chances.

Was always going to be a tough one to referee. Maybe the occasion got to him.

Would like to see that one again. Plenty of calls from our players and plenty of surprise from theirs. Seems like the ref has just let Portsmouth have that one.

Just like he let them have the numerous kick instances against our defenders and the bookings he never gave. Fk the ref.

We've had 19 shots to their 5, they had one on target and typically thats the one that went in.

We were far and away the better side. Screw you Portsmouth and hopefully we play you next season.

Missed a first half red and possibly a penalty for us later. Pivotal stuff.

To get promoted you need most things to go for you. That happened for Portsmouth today with the referee.

Gutted for them as they gave an absolute performance that deserved 3 points. It might be the playoffs and if it is we need to get some luck back as we didn't have it today.

Decent performance and any other day it'd be seen as a decent result. Lads must be gutted after that, we've had the chances to win it, but now with Derby having the lead again it's back in their hands and I can't expect them to slip up against Cambridge or Carlisle.

Play offs it is.

I wouldn't mind if it was only once or twice this season, but theres a number of games we can look back on and have legitimate gripes over the quality of the refereeing.

Can we say the same about Portsmouth? Possibly, but their 12 penalties they've had this season certainly buck the trend and suggest some favourability from the refs.

Portsmouth score from there one or two chances, we dominate the entire match as usual, create 10+ chances and it just won't fecking go in, why won't it fecking go in, every week, every fecking week it's the same, chance after chance it's fecking painful to watch, and just to chefs kiss it, the team who've been given 12, yes 12 penalties this season fecking clearly handball it in the last second but the blind time wasting tosser thought nah, feck that, I'll just ignore it, pretend it didn't happen.

The points tally tells you if you're good enough.

It's not over yet. Keep the faith.

There was something there that has been missing for a while, hunger. They would've run through walls for each other(except JDC and Geth, but that's another story :D).

Gutted for the lads as you could see how hard they'd tried.

Going to take some turn around to get ready for Shrewsbury away but we've got to use that us against the League mentality.

Onwards and Upwards.

Just tallied their penalties in games where they have drawn or won by one and it equates +8 points. If that's a tactic then I'd like Evatt to take note.

Can't decide how it makes me feel.

"Good but not quite good enough to beat the champions" might be alright.

"Good but not quite good enough to go up" would hurt.

Back out of our hands now. But weird stuff continues to happen. Ask Posh, battered 5-0 by the same Oxford we battered 5-0.

Ultimately it looks like we might be one goal short of automatic promotion. Fine margins indeed.

A goal in this game? Or the one at Derby? Or do you mean GD altogether?

The table does have a terrible habit of being meritocratic by season's end. (Well, barring financial doping, but that's a different show.)

Best we can get now is 91pts. Derby (with two games left) are on 86 with a +5 better GD, which is effectively a point, BUT they still need to win their two games IF we win all three. Our game in hand is Tuesday – Shrewsbury at home - so guess what? Just. Keep. Winning.
