It wasn't so long back that every single player in our squad was a non-league donkey.

Yeah need to leave the post-mortems for now! Victor back for the bench is good cos I still don’t see a goal in Dan. Charles goal today, so hopefully we have goals in us, enough, to get to Wembley.
Great for the assist on Jerome's goal.

Could be said we've finished with a chance of promotion, that's a plus surely. Hope's still alive.

Well the fat lady was busy doing her shopping but at least we gave it a go. Off to Oxford for the first leg next week.

Unless Exeter equalise.

Gonna be interesting to see that one. Might very well be a case of Barnsley picking their opponents and letting Northampton have one.

As if this season wasn't aggravating enough, Barnsley in the play offs again. FFS.

Yup, not like they'll want to put any past failure to bed.

Looking at the table if Blackpool had won they would have pipped Barnsley to 6th.

Evatt shouldn't need to motivate the lads for these 2 matches!

We know exactly the sort of game Barnsley will be. A physical and mental slog. We have a week to prepare. We need to find a way to win a set piece type slog fest because it won’t be an open game and there won’t be space or time to play.

Needs a more Parky type approach because we have the better players but we’ve got to go and match their midfield and physicality and mentality.

We’ve got to earn the right for our quality to do the talking.

Sick of the sight of Barnsley tbh.

20210810 (H) D 0-0 League Cup (Bolton through on pens)

20221015 (H) D 0-0
20221105 (H) L 1-2 FA Cup
20220102 (A) W 3-0
20230513 (H) D 1-1 Play offs
20230519 (A) L 0-1 Play offs

20240203 (H) D 1-1
20240305 (A) D 2-2
20240503 (A) ? Play off First Leg
20240507 (H) ? Play off Second Leg

Results have been relatively even in recent years with Barnsley edging it.

Form: DDLWDLDD

Having to meet these 10 times in 3 seasons just isn't fun.

If we meet Peterborough again, Gethin Jones needs protection as he was shocking today.

Presumably duff is about to be appointed?

Need to go to their place and not lose. Any kind of defeat and the home game will be a slog.

I don’t want to play a Duff-managed Barnsley in the play-offs again.

I'm sure the offside trap on the half way line isn't doing us any favours. They need to cut that out.
