Look - I suspect most are getting jittery. Mentions of Knight and that night should be banned (I was there I still feel sick thinking about it).

This isn’t about referees. That night we were done but we also did ourselves. Tonight if the ref is bad we have to rise above it and do our jobs.
Agreed!
Detaching the emotion can be difficult when players are getting away with scraping studs down players legs.

Said nob will be starting tonight, guaranteed.
That’s why they are professionals. You have to do it. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as robbed as I did that night. Never been to a football match where a result was as determined by an official as that one. And seemingly planned too. It wasn’t just on the night incompetence.

But in hindsight some very experienced pros lost their heads that night. And we were through but for a late goal that had nothing to do with Knight.

Don’t be provoked. That’s what they want. Smile and get on with it. Do the job.

All comes down to having to play what's in front of you, including the referee...Spotting what he's letting go and not, is all part and parcel of being a professional.

I am un-jittery, right now. :-)

I was fine until I read some of this. Now I'm pacing up and down, waiting for lift...

Well, it's the same line up. Putting pay to any thoughts around rotating players for any potential penalty shootout considerations.

We're going into it guns blazing as per the first half. Lets go!

Cosgrove starts for them. Scumbags but hardly surprising.

Nothing wrong with that goal. Two disallowed goals against these in the playoffs so far.

We'd be raging if we hadn't got it.

They need to settle down. Some right nerves out there tonight.

Should’ve been a goal, should’ve been a penalty.

Definitely.

Think the nerves help Barnsley more than it does us but we're handling it well and look keen and forward thinking
