Right Ladies and gentlemen, we need to get this thing booked, much as the trophies look nice on my mantlepiece I'd like to have them there by merit!
So who is definitely up for the TW Open on 20th August 2006 at Regents Park GC, Bolton?
I am guessing me, Bruce and MWCIEC are definites, what about the rest of you?...
Tango - yes

Gertie
Sotwa
Plodder

anyone else?
We need all the names in no later than wednesday 2nd august, so we can be sure of getting the tees booked.

will bruce be OK to play now, or do we need to arrange some sort of electric buggy to help him round the course, what with him getting on in years? I bet he get's a discounted green fee too at his age!

Leave the youngsters alone, TANGO. They haven't lived.
I remember back in the 'fifties there were so much snow on't links I had to sacrifice me putter just so's I could carry a shovel in me bag. Worked out well 'n all. Seven foot of snow there was; 'ad ter dig a tunnel from tee ter green. Still made par though after me partner agreed not to count each shovel load as a stroke.
Kids these days, they don't know ther alive I tell yer.
