World Class Manager

Post by Trott » Wed Aug 23, 2006 9:32 am

I see Niall Quinn is sacking himself and appointing a "world class manager" before Monday.
What makes someone a "world class manager" and which of this breed of super hero are available?

Do you have to keep running round the desk to sack yourself :conf:

I'd take it to a tribunal if I were him.

Cracking result for the mighty shakers though, shame the home fans were out numbered by the travelling!

I Fancy Peterbrough away for us next round, or Bury away!

Just had a vision of Quinn quickly running from one side of the desk to another, with the manager arguing with the chairman to have more time to restructure the side etc

I'd be happy with Bury in the next round, wouldn't mind at the Reebok or Gigg...hopefully put about 8 past them to make up for our past 2 games against them

I never want to be at home for the early stages in either cup with our support, there are like reserve games. but we would probaly sell out Gigg Lane!

The Sun reckon's its Curbishley. Guess so often every once in a while they're going to be right.

I would be quite suprised if that happened actaully, I think he's going to take a year or two off from the footballing world.

What about O'Leary :conf:

Twice on Radio 5 last week Curbishley said he wants 6 months out of the game. He flew to New Zealand for a month this week to stay with his sister. He said by October he would then look to return to work.

Well I knew it wasn't Sam when they said World Class manager.

Funny though, on their forum, there are already KEANE OUT threads

606 are talking about Roy Keane being a number 1,
and Brian Kidd being a number 2.

How fitting.

At the game on Monda, he was in the stands and by god did the crowd go crazy! ROY KEANE'S RED AND WHITE ARMY was to be heard all around the stadium, you could tell keano made a massive impression on our players, the players played with a bit of brute and determination!

the reason for this performance is cos' keane will kick the seven shades of shi* out of them.

Roy Keane is one of my all-time favourite players. I hope he makes a decent fist of management rather than doing a Souness.
