Ricketts still getting carried away

Michael Ricketts is still getting carried away claiming he is better than Southend and should be playing at a higher level. Also ruling out a return to former club Walsall. Looks like he's still screwing over clubs that he's been at treating Southend no better than he did Walsall and Bolton.

History repeats itself it seems and Ricketts looks to be heading the way of Division 3 and the Conference. What a shame!

What a joke! He should be playing at a higher level? Are the tables for the buffet taller in the lower leagues?

Silly sod. Get yourself fit and prove what you can do, instead of mouthing about it.

Absolutely correct, give that man a sandwich..

If he's truely better than his current position, then he needs to fecking prove it. Keep your trap shut and start playing for it. He'll get noticed without needing to shout about it.

The guy's a complete tw*t.

I wonder if this guy is the agent who advised him to move from Bolton ?

No chance Mar, he still thinks far too much of himself to drop down to such a level, though then again I don't think he'd even get a game at RMI at the minute.

No matter how low he falls, I still cannot feel an ounce of sympathy towards the fat pig.

What a career wasted. I met him once during the 01-02 season and he was amiable chap, even had time to talk to me about his incredible goals from that season. Ricketts at the top of his game was phenomenal, his power and finishing was unreal. Its seems that bad advice ruined his career, he really could have become a Bolton great with his goalscoring record if he stuck it out. Shame.
