Die Hard IV Live Free or Die Hard

Post by americantrotter » Wed Jul 11, 2007 7:11 pm

Was a good summer movie. Didn't let the series down at all. Just a bit OTT at the end with a plane involved, but there are always a few moments of hollywood magic in a die-hard film. Has to be one of the best series of it's type.

Wasn't as good as 1 or 3, but still a great film nonetheless. On par with 2, in my opinion.

John McClane's daughter was gorgeous!

Yeah she was smokin alright. I like the hacker kid too. Brought some needed comedy that wasn't just Mclain muttering under his breath. Plus they kept in the element I most like about it. John actually gets scared at times, not like a weedy kid, but aware that he is in peril scared.

Bah!!! I can't wait for the new Rambo. Kind of sad Stallone has to show everyone else how to make a decent action movie.

Wouldn't mind seeing Die Hard though, but I was no huge fan of the series.

the first "Rambo" was actually First Blood Part 2: Rambo, the first film being called "First Blood"

anyway I've seen pics from the latest film and he looks like his mum on steroids.

I always dig "old school" action films. In modern blockbusters I can't barely tell what's going on the screen, it's like every director has an uncurable case of ADD.

Rambo and Rambo II are great beer movies btw.
Barça fan that loves a team in white
