Best Football Strips

Post by ChrisTee11 » Fri Feb 20, 2009 3:34 am

After seeing that Bolton have decided to bring out the two worst kits in history.. Whats your favourite ever football kit? Any team and colour.. Show pictures if possible and tell us why? Mines got to be the red and white stripes of Athletico Madrid. Beautiful strip :P

well christine, your about to see posted links of numerous other threads with this discussion in, and pictures of Coventry City's chocolate brown away kit etc etc.

however, so as not to be twatish - my fave strip is the black Bayern Munich one they wore against us, with the red adidas stripes! nice.

Fiorentina. By a mile. Having the audacity to wear violet is the winning combo for me.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Then surely Palermo trump even the Viola?
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

It means they're proud of their heritage.... St George is also the patron saint of Italy (i think) as wel as Catalonia and many other places.... Sampdoria, Barca and AC also have the Flag of St. George in the club crest

The Peru kit in the 70s and 80s can't be equalled. A mix of simplicity, innovation and beauty.

Mmm - but the badge was bigger than the player's head

And if we're talking about wearing it, you have to be a bold man to don that much orange!
