Recent recommendations:
Oldboy - violent and disturbing Korean thriller
Sideways - two blokes on a wine tour of California, funny and poignant
Crash - not the pervy Cronenberg one, but a story of several peoples' lives crossing each other in LA, very well written and acted
Found Million Dollar Baby worthy but slow. Sin City is good, Batman - try the 1922 Nosferatu - spooky as f**k

Crash is really good, but really strange at the same time. It's one of those films where nothing much really happens yet you are still entertained by it.Ratbert wrote: Crash - not the pervy Cronenberg one, but a story of several peoples' lives crossing each other in LA, very well written and acted
I went watching The 40 Year Old Virgin this weekend.
