That's Chadstone and Dandenong gone.

The one time I got to cherish the Dandenong JB I got two Motorhead albums for under $10 each!

their are two/three close Stores I go to that are left; plus the City and Camberwell.

Camberwell I went once with my Son, leaving the pram downstairs and going up.
That day I got quite an evil Deicide CD which I had to hide and a Slim Dusty Boxset (which is lost)

There is a cheap mugs, Band shirts & crap store with last days sign; bit sad to see that go.
There mas some $36 Coca Cola dvd storing wood item there I wanted

I'm angry with myself for continually not understanding a word by 2399 yet still reading his stuff.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

... and, on another note, not sure whether it's angry, shocked or bemused, but somethjing I've noticed which is 'of concern' ; -

I'm working darn saarf at the moment.

I have noticed an alarming traffic trend here which is quite different to how it works at home.

Traffic-light jumping.

We all approach traffic lights hoping they won't turn red. I'm not immune to seeing it turn Amber & thinking "go on, get through" but in the 'Home Counties' Amber barely registers, neither, it appears, does Red for the first few vehicles. Not one, which would be wrong enough, but 3 or 4 jumping Red is very common. I stopped on a late Amber yesterday and damn nearly caused a pile-up behind me. When lights go Green you can confidently expect a good number of vehicles to still be crossing the junction.

OK, I'm getting old maybe. I'd quite like to get older !!

Have you noticed how much more aggressive the driving style is aswell? Wo betide anyone who doesn't jump the red light/enter the junction box etc etc.

Dog eat Dog I'm afraid.

You have to be aggressive to get anywhere.

Recently, however, I pulled out of a junction (with the intention of turning right) when the traffic on my side was a good 400 yards away and I was waiting for the other side of the road to clear (two cars). Anyway a car came out of a side turning 50 yards or so up the road and then accelerated towards my (stationary) car, flashing their lights and gesticulating for me to reverse back to let him through. I refused with a universally accepted hand gesture and he then swerved around me, into oncoming traffic, and carried on his way. This was on Blackburn Road about two weeks ago.

In London there would have been no issue.

You old men shouldn't be on the road! ;) Should be clogging up the pavements with your electric ride on buggy things instead! :D

I never gave it a name. I felt it would personalise our relationship too much.
