What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

So, last two nights - watched The Social Network. A really enjoyable movie that can't decide what it's about so skirts the surface on everything and amuses always... Enjoyed...

I Love you Phillip Morris is less successful... But for the same reason - the comedy is allowed to disrupt the true story... In this case a gay enduring love affair, with super-con-man and cheat not quite making lovable rogue and object of desire not quite making honest cheated lover... It was amiable and engaging...

Machete is incredible. You do need to be drunk/stoned for this effect to take place though.

Also, t'other day, having never seen the old three all the way through, watched The Empire Strikes Back. What a load of shit. Seriously. Grown men. Ludicrous nonsense.

I am taping a manu tape for someone, let's hope Chelsea Score at least 3 goals in the second half!

I just put in the end of the Fulham 2 - 2 Manc game at the end of the 1st half (of MAN CHelSy)

(and most/.some of the first half has fast forward bits/skipped bits. and when Manu scored I pause straight away then replay/show a minute before)

I'm 7 minutes behind (from live pause/rewind)

Chelsea Torres scores 8)

Today I went to the market and as soon as I got to the stall I was given/shown a dvd that was not on display.
it was held for me (because it was new), I didn't want it but felt obliged and bought it.

It is the WWE Elimination Chamber 2010 dvd :?

I did glance for 1 second at the back though and saw 'Gail Kim' 8)

I also bought Unledded for a friend and Hugh Grant movie double pack :whack:

as well as what I have assured myself is the American/or Canadian voiced version (original) of The Backyardigans (bought for $3 at another stall)

Bruce Rioja wrote:Guys - House of Sand and Fog. Just finished watching it. Now, I know I'm no Barry Norman, but, having never even having heard of it I magic Sky'd it just because it has Ben Kingsley in it. It's an absolutely superb film and I urge you all to either put it on your LF lists or just buy it.
I can't understand how come I've never heard of it being talked about in glowing terms. Has everyone heard of it but me?
Kingsley's performance is stunning, as is that of the woman playing his wife who manages to draw you in on a real emotional level. Fittie out of Requiem for a Dream and Brilliant Mind is no slouch in it either.
Cheers Bruce, just watched this on your recco - enjoyed it!

Jennifer Connelly is EFF-EYE-TEA!!! infact she's probably my favourite 'older than me' woman!

Great film, watched it too last night. One of my favourites.
But I can never tell if Shelley Duvall puts in a brilliant performance in it playing the pathetic needy wife to perfection or if she's just a crappy pathetic needy actress.

Can't stand The Shining, never understood the fuss

Watching Let Me In - US version of Let the Right One in and really enjoying it so far and glad they did not just make an English speaking version of Let the Right One In, the girl from Kick Ass is very very good in it.

And watched Jackass 3 last night and almost wet myself - probably shows my brain capacity and the reason for not liking the Shining

In fact other than the excellent Mars Attacks I can't think of a film with Jack Nicholson in it that I like...find he just gets my back up
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!
