Valentine's Day

Post by Salford Trotter » Mon Feb 13, 2012 1:21 am

Am I just an old romantic buying my Mrs a card, 24 roses and cooking her a Valentine's Day meal or have I got this all wrong and should it rather be "keep it mean, keep 'em keen"? :conf:

24 roses may be going overboard a bit... Don't make the rest of us look bad.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

We had a meal out last week as me and the gf won't be together for it tomorrow.

I've hidden a card under her bed though so there's at least something.

My wife and I don't normally acknowledge the existence of 'Valentine's Day'. Today will be different as I am planning to have her walk to the local florist to buy a single yellow rose . . . for me.

With flying colours! Did you google some cheesy rhymes too? Have fun in Prague, I've a mate who has just moved back here with work with his Czech Mrs and raves about the city

Oh shit. Missus has gone away to see her parents, so I didn't bother with cards, flowers, chocs, that kind of thing, only to find she's hidden a card in the house for me (with text message clues as to where to find it)

Received a Happy Valentines text message from a former g/f. The way it's worded leads me to believe that I'm not its only recipient. Ooooh the romance :D

Ooohh, fck Ax.

Retrospective action required ..... starting with the text "found yours, did you find mine before you left ?" or similar.

Still, you should be able to get a cheap one tomorrow. :oyea:
