Congrats... went through it a few weeks ago myself.... we'll not myself, but Miss DLH did...2399 wrote:20 week Scan went well.
I know I know.... This should of been posted in the New Kit (-t +d ) Thread
Along with this me and Miss DLH reached 24 weeks yesterday... officially viability in the NHS so they'd try to save the future DLH jnr should he decide to make an appearance a little early...

finished my new chicken run yesterday - a big job that's been hanging over me in damoclean fashion ever since we moved in...

err.. no - not in this case - I ordered the panels! I just screwed all the buggers together!
i did make summat similar to this at my last house - a slightly wobblier version - but as I costed it up this time - by the time you have bought all the wood and all the wire - and that stuff is a real bastard to cut down staple to the panels - then it only cost a little bit more to have them made for me and delivered...
the barked knuckles and aching muscles came from clearing that land of trees and bushes - and then levelling it - using a bow-saw and not a chainsaw... (for the cutting down of the trees - not the levelling!)
ps - why have highlighted word-ads started appearing in my posts?? is it just me that can see them?

Impressive none the less. How did you manage to hold the panels in place whilst you attached them to one and other?thebish wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:All your own work, Bish? Seriously? Highly impressive stuff.

Re: Today I'm happy about......
I layed them all flat and screwed the two sides together (5 panels each) and the two ends (2 panels each) - then I called on the whole family to help me carry them into place and as they held them together I whacked in some holding screws...Bruce Rioja wrote:

then - the rest (roof panels) I could do myself...
am planning on putting a couple of perspex roof-panels across about half of it so there is one end that stays dryer... I discovered a couple behind the garage left by a previous tenant..
also - as you can see if you look closely - I left some stumps inside the run area so that I can make perches... but that's for another day!

... in fact it looks like text-enhance.com hijacker. You need to remove it, it can be harmful as well as just plain annoying.
