Not sure what all this is about? I started the thread because I like dance and the show. I make comments in it, good or bad, so does everybody else. What problem there?

The voting's a joke, always has been. The boy band fella will always be safe as long as thirteen year olds with mobiles are around. Don't get me started on Jerry Hall. Biggest joke of all is there is no Sunday live show. It was all recorded yesterday.

Jerry will be in it for a while, due to the popularity of Anton.

Unfortunately, yes. I quite like him and he's a good ballroom dancer though not so hot on latin. Jerry hall I can't stand. Anton's nickname on dance forums is "Housewives Choice".

Some of the partnerings are weird. Colin Salmon, top of my head, is about 6'4" and Kristina 5'2". For me, Erin won't last long with that Richard fella either.

I was referring to the public vote. I bother because you want the people who learn to dance the best to win. That's why I watch the show because there's some really good contestants. The judges mark them on talent, the public vote on favouritism. Half the marks from each decide who stays or goes. It's also a very entertaining show in parts, but the public voters regularly see people off who should stay based on talent. Anybody not regularly in the public eye rarely last long.

No. It isn't. But it is a 'reality' tv show which gets skewed because the great british public get involved. If it was judged more like the Great British Bake Off it would be fairer, but not the same draw.

It really is a cracking programme, voting aside, and good to see the improvement of the 'celebrities'.

It really is a cracking programme, voting aside, and good to see the improvement of the 'celebrities'.

Thought the professional dancers Ballroom v Contemporary spot in the results show was really top notch GtE. Not too thrilled with the Scissor Sisters number. Take the voices away and just leave the percussion and it would have made a decent instrumental.
