What made you go 'wow'?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Staying in La Herradura in half term, TD. Might just check that out. :wink:

Absolutely, it's a must. Stunning.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The first time I saw and heard a top fuel dragster run the 1/4 mile at Santa Pod. Wow! Absolutley incredible.

If you're even only slightly interested in motor sports and you've not been to watch drag racing, I can't recommend it highly enough. It's impossible to describe the effect watching one of these "cars" has on your body as it leaves the line. Unbelievable noise, power, vibration, engineering, and bravery of the drivers, just a few feet in front of you. The first time I witnessed this, I just couldn't help burst out laughing at what I'd just seen! Incredible.
Hope is what keeps us going.

The sight and sound of a Harrier jump jet hovering at approx 500 feet at the aerospace airshow about 20 years ago. F*ck me. I swear that my whole skeleton vibrated. Just incredible!

Watching Muse at Leeds festival a few years ago. Say about them what you like but f*ck me they are proper showmen.

Similarly, Radiohead in Werchter, Belgium in 2008.

Playing for Bolton at the Reebok...well, for Bolton u11s rugby league side against Bury, in a curtain-raiser game before the GB v NZ test match at the 'bok in 98 (i think)? Really weird milling around in the tunnels bit before the game.

Watching the sunset at Cape Souinion, Greece (yep, thta's me!) https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/ ... 9168_n.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Similarly, waking up on a all-night ferry from Piraeus to Santorini...it was daybreak and the sky was the so pink, absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Wish I had a camera for that.

Also, standing at Fulton Landings, on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge, and looking across to Manhattan. At night, it is a simply stunning view (And no, this isn't me, this is just a pic from google) http://www.coreythompsonphotography.com ... anding.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Bruce's shirt in that other thread.

Can beat that, had same experience at Brands Hatch with a Vulcan Bomber go overhead (very low) you could feel the damn thing and it even hurt

Would watch it again though

Quite possibly the most magnificent piece of television that I've ever seen. Seriously!

Same.

I need to re-watch it, but on first viewing I'm struggling to find any faults. For a show which some would say relies on coarse language it was a brave move. And dear god it worked for me. Malcolm... :o

Frank Worthington's Goal, you know the one.

Queenstown NZ, probable the most picturesque town in the world
