Was hoping to have Foie Gras tonight, but I think the hounds got lost in the grounds when they went after the ducks

Hopefully yes, will give you a bell - been abroad for all the midweekers, recently, so not been able to go. But could probably muster the odd pint of mild in a handle pot with some pork scratchings.boltonboris wrote:mrkint wrote:fixedboltonboris wrote:you going to the Huddersfield match? You'll struggle to find that in Huddersfield. And I doubt that they'd let your sort in even if you do. Well, at least I hope that they wouldn'tboltonboris wrote:mrkint wrote:fixedboltonboris wrote:you going to the Huddersfield match? 4 Years. Only mine new still cost less than yours is worth now.
Living in a mock Tudor house in a former pit village must be such a comfort for you, Comrade.

If Sir cut down a little on the caviar and SB, maybe Sir could push to the price of a 6/7 year old car. There's probably not that much difference.Bruce Rioja wrote:

As for former pit village, I should be so lucky! This is built on the bloody pit head - bit of spare land aside from the village houses.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

What a splendid discovery - Corsendonk. A monastic Belgian cheese. Very nice indeed.
