What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

feck only knows how that hefty piece made it onto Masterchef last night. She'd have even made a bollocks of a pasty barm!

I think she thought being a mum of 3 automatically makes her a good cook.

They'd have to be plumbing the depths if I was ever on there. Especially that taste test one - "hmmm, I think it might contain food?"

I think there's the token tattooed-threatening-looking-bouncer-type-who-can-actually-cook on tonight.

To fill the void left on Atlantic by Boardwalk Empire, I've been trying out Vegas & Nashville. Anyone seen them?

Vegas is a great idea for a series - set in the time when the Mafia were first starting to build the town into the cash cow it became. Sadly, the writer went a bit daft then and threw in some cowboy who becomes sherrif almost by default and the series just falls into daft cliches with story lines that would have been far fetched if they'd been shown on telly in the 60s!

Nashville is the opposite. A storyline that offers little promise (over the hill singer who's being outshone by the new, younger & fitter girl in town) but is actually pretty good. Certainly enough to hold my interest until Nucky comes back.

There may well be, but then there's Gemma.

I'm not sure she can cook, but ..... so what ??

I thought they were going to put the Robbie Williams look-alike through just for the comedy value.
It's fairly obvious that anyone who can cook is either already employed in a kitchen or has appeared in the previous series. We are left with leftovers.

I think there has been some people that look pretty good.

That round last night though was shockingly bad.

That lass that cooked fecking pancakes and chocolate sauce. What the hell was she thinking? Then to make it even worse she couldn't even cook the fecking pancakes.

I expect the pressure is pretty awful, but I think it might be wise to go in with something a bit more adventurous than pancakes!

At least her pancakes were'nt made out of potato, and therefore were sufficiently within my comfort zone. :)

Is it just me or is John Torode making the taste tests on MF harder and harder? Last night he had a smugness about him when he did the Glass Noodles and even Greg said "So they dont need cooking???", to which he replied "lets see how many of them know this"........ Surely a taste test shouldnt include ingredients that hardly anybody has ever used. I know it shouldnt be straight forward but Torode is taking it completely the opposite way and then he moaned that no-one had got his dish right. He's a smug tosser...... :whack:

It's taken this from the professional masterchef thing where the French wanker comes up with some "classic French dish that every chef will have cooked" and then pretends to be stunned when nobody in the room has heard of the obscure dish let alone cooked it.

Personally I think asking them to taste and identify the ingredients is a good idea.

I'm none too keen on asking them to cook something with zero instructions that they don't even know the ingredients for. It's a bit pointless IMO.

You're not testing if they know techniques more just testing if they are lucky guessers!
