Feel a bit sorry for this Reynolds lad. The game can't finish soon enough for him. He's getting absolutely tatered by Djokovic. Even BWFCI could confidently predict a straight sets victory here. ;)

Surely it is embarrassing and an insult to tennis or summat to lose so badly?

I might have tried to reverse jinx it but don't even think my powers stretch that far.

You could try Moray or Murrey but I think your version is the tried and tested.

Really good player. Will be top ten soon i wager. Probably the biggest threat to murray in his half.

Also, just checked the world record - there's some guy in the futures tour who serves at 164mph :O

Murray takes the first set 6-2. Playing sound, but I'd like to see a few more first serves a bit better. Easy to talk I suppose. Early days.

Playing sound? Jesus Christ that's setting a high standard.

Murray is absolutely taking the fecking piss out of Robredo at this current moment in time.

It's complete domination.

At the moment at least. Things can change of course.

Do forgive my lack of tennis expertise. No doubt I'll improve as it goes on. :|

Oh don't be coming around here with your caveats, disclaimers and damage limitation exercises. You'll be citing force majeure next. :P

Murray in straight sets. :oyea:

I was merely saying that was the situation at the time in case some smart Alec comes along if Murray has a wobble.....

I doubt it - I mean you've been watching Wimbledon since an Englishman won it and still cannot recognize complete domination. Shocking.

Straight sets generally refers to a gubbing, and it was far from that. Djokovic winning in straight sets last night was a gubbing, but Murray had it far from his own way in the 2nd and 3rd (Didn't see the 1st).

Robredo played at his absolute maximum. And Murray still won comfortably in about 3rd gear would be my assessment.

1st set was an absolute crushing. Robredo stepped it up after that, but still barely a contest.

Yep, nearly every game going with serve = barely a contest.
