Now you're just being silly. It's a given ... it's just so wrong to fck cider up with cherry, blackberry, cranberry etc.Worthy4England wrote:I'm guessing you're counting apple as fruit flavoured too?bobo the clown wrote:If they are fruit flavoured ones then I want a Parliamentary Enquiry.Lord Kangana wrote:Bobo you cynic.
I suspect cider sales will be up aswell, so you get my vote.
If you want pop drink pop. If you want pop AND to get pissed, put vodka with it ... but cider is apple, only apple, just apple and nowt else.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

And, by the way and whilst we're at it, pear cider already has a name. Its called a perry. Not, I repeat not (and not now or ever before) f*cking pear cider.

Good chance he's out injured anyhow.Bruce Rioja wrote:Pietersen's place is under the spotlight for me. It's just that I've no idea who to bring in for him.Harry Genshaw wrote:2 up - lovely.
If Pietersen & Cooke can sort their batting out for the 3rd test, we should be good for a 3-0 lead
Barring injury he's a definite in for me, despite his performances thus far. He can be a liability but also on his day the best attacking batsman we've got, and one of the best in the world.
You're going to get stupid shots from him but I guess that's the package. Long since resigned myself to that. It's why we need the rest to be a bit more solid. Happier now that Root has shown his ability because hopefully between him and Cook one will at least get a start.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
I'd persist with Peitersen if fit. His average will always help some in the scoring, more often than not and he's a really useful fielder. Took two good deep field catches against the sun that were real awkward in this test. Not sure who'd go in in his place?

Tried it, once, in The Loft in Keswick. Took one swig, placed it back on the bar and ordered a large G & T.Lord Kangana wrote:And, by the way and whilst we're at it, pear cider already has a name. Its called a perry. Not, I repeat not (and not now or ever before) f*cking pear cider.

Is he going in to have his feet surgically separated? They appear to have become adjoined.BWFC_Insane wrote:Good chance he's out injured anyhow.Bruce Rioja wrote:Pietersen's place is under the spotlight for me. It's just that I've no idea who to bring in for him.Harry Genshaw wrote:2 up - lovely.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Here is a difficult question for you lot ... Which three cricketers have represented both England and another international side in Britain or Ireland. Don't cheat.

Kudos to BP two more to go, I was asked the same question earlier and got 2 of the 3.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Gavin Hamilton played for Scotland and England sides. He didn't exactly shine for either. Robert Croft has played for Wales and England. Ed Joyce has played for Ireland and England.
So that's four we've got without really trying.
Five, if you count Boyd Rankin.

6 if you count Dougie Brown. I wonder which 3 Dan isn't counting?Little Green Man wrote:Gavin Hamilton played for Scotland and England sides. He didn't exactly shine for either. Robert Croft has played for Wales and England. Ed Joyce has played for Ireland and England.

I don't know where I've got this from, as I know next to shit all about cricket, but Robert Croft?
Edit: bastards.

Don't think Robert Croft is one to be fair. Wales have never played any first class matches (or at least they haven't since about 1930)Prufrock wrote:I don't know where I've got this from, as I know next to shit all about cricket, but Robert Croft?

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
I wont be counting Croft as it is the England and Wales cricket board. Ed Joyce and Gavin Hamilton I will accept. There was also a fourth in Dougie Brown.Little Green Man wrote:Gavin Hamilton played for Scotland and England sides. He didn't exactly shine for either. Robert Croft has played for Wales and England. Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
I take it back there are five no Rankin has represented England. So Morgan, Rankin, Joyce, Hamilton and Brown. I am surprised how quickly you got those but I presume some of you used the internet as your guide.

If we're going pre-1930, then Sydney Barnes bagged several wickets for Wales. So we're back up to six.jimbo wrote:Don't think Robert Croft is one to be fair. No, it's just that most of them have been in the last 15 years and are all notable in some way
