You can buy tickets in advance - may be wise.
Normal way to travel from Brussels to Bruges is by train http://www.b-rail.be/nat/E/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There are 2 trains each hour and the journey takes about 1 hour.

Round trip ticket from Brussels to Bruges and back costs EUR 26.20 on weekdays and EUR 13.80 on Saturday or Sunday.
You can book and check schedules on the website.

thanks, ive had a look at all that. just dubious, being a regular on virgin trains (where they treat honest mistaken incorrect ticket holders like nazi paedophile lepers) that if the flights a bit late, whether we can just catch any train or have to buy again? in which case might as well just wait till we land...

I've never had bother just pitching up for trains around Europe, Chief. I'd do that as you have more flexibility that way too.

Two trains an hour would not be a long wait. I'd wait until you land and get to the station.

It's v nice but it's v quiet too. Almost nothing there apart from the main town, and there's not a lot there either!

Back to La Herradura this Summer.

Looking forward to introducing friends to this delightful part of Spain with the Caves at Nerja and sardines fresh from the sea at the little Chiringuitos in the town.

Granada and the Alhambra Palaces beckons again, too.

Can't wait.

I've never been to Oz but both my boys have and think it is a super place for a holiday (although loke North America you have to travel a bit to take in a lot of the good parts). Younger son is currently in Adelaide.

Spending a lovely few days and nights near Lorne, Victoria Australia.

I bought some DVDs obviously... Also a Sons of Anarchy toy for my Uncles Birthday this Saturday at the petrol station.

And some thongs/flip-flops as I had none.

Not summer yet, but it's holiday time again and I'm celebrating. 5 days in Transylvania, including a night in an ice hotel in the Transfagaras mountains. It was minus 22 last night. Best take my thermals. Roll on Tuesday.
