for one thing - the EU is a mainly right-wing dominated organisation (despite your persistent attempts to label it "leftie")
Hoboh thinks Labour are Leftie, tbf, so I'm not sure what you're expecting.

He also referred to the "so-called EU" on another thread, which made me laugh.

And he thinks Fred the weatherman is a leading authority on climate change.

How do I be neither angry or happy, with a locked thread? I'm angry about that. Which is a good job, because if I was undecided, I'd be fooked.

Fcuking technology. Why can't they make stuff that lasts longer than 18 months any more? 2 days ago my tablet died (about 16 months old), now my media PC is acting up (about 14 months old). The media PC is worse as that is 99% of my telly viewing. Off to do battle with Windows 8 to see if I can rescue it

^ At the risk of being predictable, get an iMac. Four years in I have had a hard drive failed and replaced under warranty but zero other problems. Still as fast, reliable and beautiful as it was on day one.

Problem is I hate macs. Not because I dislike Apple (I do), but I find their UI logic bewildering. I find quite a bit bewildering these days and fully intend to stay in middle aged comfort of stuff I know. As far as Apple goes, they use a lot of their stuff at Mrs AT's company and the reliability hasn't been impressive at all. Whether that has been down to misuse (possible with that lot) I don't know.

I've Google's latest and greatest tablet arriving later and spent a few hours fiddling with Windows. Fingers crossed :|

People that wear sunglasses indoors. Yes, Jenny Meadows, I'm looking at you. You might well be as fit as feck and a dab hand at the 800 metres, but please, leave your shades in you trackie pocket, there's a love. Thank you. :)

I'm reckoning, that your best chance there, is if she keeps them on and it's really dark.... 8)

Dear BBC,

I, amongst others, couldn't give a flying feck about the borish nice person Jeremy Clarkson.

Whether he'll ever appear on your television channels again is not news, let alone headline news.

So feck off with it!

I'd hang on just a little bit, jaffca. Three posts so far advertising his business, but he may just post something about Bolton Wanderers before long. We'll see.
