Very harsh on the bloke. Oxford Street is an interesting walk
Re: Today I'm happy about......
Crucially the backstreets, Oxford st is lovely apart from all the bastard people. Lots of very pretty squares behind Oxford St to the north Side.

Didn't wear them last summer cos i was pregnant and i generally wear jeans/denim hotpants for a couple of days unless they get dirty so i must have worn them for a day or so the year before and not put them in the wash. Discusting eh?!Lofthouse Lower wrote:Do you not wash your clothes ??

Talk of food on another thread. Wife's out for a few hours, shopping and hairdressers type stuff, so I popped two slices of toastie loaf in the machine, did them hot and light brown, whilst frying an egg. Salt, pepper and a big hot mug of tea and devoured it. Don't take much to make me happy.

There's still time to have a cheeky couple of each-way bets on the National. How about Becauseicouldntsee in honour of the Arsenal manager and What A Friend in honour of Lofthouse Lower?Gooner Girl wrote:And have just found 2 £5 notes in the back pocket! Foxsports has fixed viewers choice, it is back in the right dimensions now.
But Have no working VCR so I can't tape it, so I'm not too happy.

I had what sounds to be the same system as yourself but, being a pensioner, it was becoming a bit expensive (about $55 per month). Being out of contract I rang them and asked them to disconnect me and retrieve their equipment. The bloke at the other end almost begged me not to leave them! He eventually offered me a deal I couldn't refuse. I now have the same privileges as before (basic + sport) at a cost of $21 per month AND an upgrade to the recording system (IQ or summat) AND no contract.
Of course I was serious about the disconnection request (it's a satellite link) so I had nothing to lose really. Your circumstance might well be different.
