What, they're playing again today?
That would be really disappointing if you were looking forward to it later this evening... :o

Wilkinson ( broke the world record for drop goals) is so much more than a good kicker, Vainikolo is a real asset and Wigglesworth (2nd cap) was immense. For the French, the nineteen year old, Parra, is a real prospect. Hard, tough, mauling game with a cracking second half display by England's defence. Glad to see it finish, even though we were on top, and the last try was icing on the cake.
I am just recovering slowly from watching this with copious amounts of amber nectar....Always good to stick it up the French at any game :-) Can't make my mind up about Vainikolo yet - excellent RL player, but we look a little unsure of how to use his talent at the moment - we had a similar problem with Farrell (although Farrell was probably past his best when he joined the England set-up). Wigglesworth needs to get a bit more control over his game - was a bit untidy, and our line-outs are still weak at the minute - don't think we got as many clean catches as we need to. We generally mugged 'em in the scrum. All round though a good performance.
Our line-outs are a weak point, we lose the ball too many times from them. Posession is something you don't give the French. There was one spell when we didn't touch the ball for fifteen minutes. If we could match the rest of our game with the passing and keeping game of the Garcon's we'd be world beaters. They start attacking from almost under their own posts.

At the moment our game is a bit lacking for taking on the likes of thE Aussies, Kiwi's and RSA. Encouraging signs though and there's nothing wrong with our fighting spirit. Wales are right on top of their game right now and they need a loss to give us any real chance.

At last, a bit of pride restored.

Terrific performance against the Irish. 10-0 down after ten minutes and won 33-10. Noone and Cipriani were brilliant, especially the debut kid. We finally started to play rugby; a combination of power play, open game and passing. Couple of great tries and some terrific defending against a side who'se heads never go down. Pride restored; to late to count but a terrific performance nevertheless. Well done the lads.
