I've seen 7 or 8 of them, but not this. Perculiar list. I walked out of The Act of Killing before the end because I was so bored. Likewise Only God Forgives. Candelabra probably my favourite out of that list but nothing mentioned shocked like Blackfish or had my grinning like Sunshine on Leith or laughing like Partridge or moved like The Selfish Giant.

You've paid for them !!!!!???? I find him as funny as a nail in my foot. I'd rather have my ball sack grated with 60 grade sandpaper than spend an evening watching him. Each to their own tho'.....

I think he's good 'in' stuff, but disappointed by his stand-up.

Cheers mate. didn't even know that he was doing a show until I read on the BN site that it was sold out. I tend to avoid the BN due to the amount of adverts and suchlike that impose, when you attempt to view the fecking thing.Annoyed Grunt wrote:If we can't, you've first dibs........Burnden Paddock wrote:Hated him until he joined 'A League of their own'. The Mrs noticed it the night before....at £12 each you can't really complain......logged on at 9:55, almost all the seats were already reserved......Burnden Paddock wrote:Cheers mate. didn't even know that he was doing a show until I read on the BN site that it was sold out. Of the Guardian list I've only seen Django Unchained and Wadja.

9. The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a Burger King in Ypsilanti, Michigan at 5 A.M., flashed a gun, and demanded cash. The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn’t open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered onion rings, the clerk said they weren’t available for breakfast… The frustrated gunman walked away.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
