Ooof not sure that's quite enough. 340 was par against this sort of side on this pitch. But wicket is a bit sticky - so slow balls do damage.

Have to bowl well and take early wickets to get out of this one I think.

V tight. Noone ever looked set, looks like the pitch rather than nerves. Archer, having just gone for 4 has just smashed Amla in the face at 90mph.

Looks like he's failed the concussion test. Ouch!

Make sure you see Ben Stokes' catch. Insane. He'd already beaten Pistorius taking on his arm earlier with a top but of fielding. But Christ. One of the best catches I've ever seen.

Stokes does pull out the spectacular in the field sometimes. Can’t see many topping that.

Thought 311 looked a bit short but we made easy work of it. That bowling attack with Archer has dimensions now that we didn’t before.

It’s going to be tricky from here. Pakistan have played some good cricket so far. Have a feeling these 2 have to be together until there’s about 210 on the board if we’ve got any chance.

Root and Buttler let down by the rest. Roy had an absolute shocker. Moeen couldn't hit a football. Awful in the field too.
