Great win in the 7's semi final. Saw the Saffers last night demolish Australia and didn't fancy us to be honest. Fiji up next. That'll be a big test but fitting for the Final.

Splendid victory for Joshua Buatsi in the boxing, but I'd have preferred to have seen the ref stop it a little earlier. Looked obvious enough to me that the other lad was on the cusp of nothing other that having his arse tanned.

I read somewhere that we currently have more medals now than at this stage in 2012. Anyone else see that?

Yeah, think we've missed out on some expected golds but picked up some unexpected ones to counteract that slightly. I think you're never going to do quite as well as a home games though anyway really.

Dunno, but we just won probably the most surprising silver medal in it ever.

Heptathlon is shaping up nicely. Great start from Ennis and Johnson-Thompson. 1.98m high jump by KJT was superb.
Also that 29.16 10000m win by Ayana was staggering. I've never seen anything like that in any championship distance race.

Staggering to think that in the qualifier that Jason Kenny and Callum Skinner were just in, last than one second was the time difference from first to last.
