Neither would the rest of us.

Someone today in work referred to Top Gear as 'made by nice people, for nice people' - can't disagree.

I've been fuming for the last hour about some stupid family stuff, and that has cheered me right up.

Thanks, thebish, that's brightened up a gloomy morning. :D

I was going to post a grumbling treatise on certain electronic equipment frailties but that stopped me dead in my tracks.

brilliant & I found myself watching with a big soft smile on my face !

Mind you, wait till dad comes home in 3 or 4 years time to find his book collection torn to shreds !!

I might be grateful - since I went back to work the shelf of shame of unread novels just creaks away behind my back, gathers dust, cobwebs will soon appear...

[WtW] I'll post you over a few spiders to fill those webs if you like. :)

[All] Today I'm fuming over Bernie the Boss' suggestion that in order to spice up F1 motor racing and to provide increased 'entertainment' he will consider dousing tracks with water should Mother Nature not give it away free of charge. Has he lost the plot? Surely it's dangerous enough in the dry, and more so on the occasions real rain does fall, without putting lawn sprinklers around a track? I've never heard such a silly proposition in all my life.

Its really quite clever and actually probs safer, imagine the headache with tyres, no soft super stickies would work, speeds would lower, drivers skill would have to be as it should in f1 simply the best.
The spin off is tyre manufacturers would have to develop more of an "all round tyre" whose technoligical advances are more suited to the general masses than current race rubber is.
Nawwwwww sorry don't agree he's a looney, no edge in racing, no enjoyment is my view.
