In answer to "How clever are you?" my reply since the questions were altered must be "not very".
Sad to say, I knew more about US sitcoms and ball games than I do about the UKs royal heritage. What is it with all the "who was the son of Gertrude VII and brother to Kenny II" type questions?

Oooooh! I got 8 - I'm improving. Having read this thread I'm rather glad that I am only doing this quiz vicariously! Has Bingle been unmasked yet and his/her system been discovered?Gertie wrote:Uncle Travelling Monty.... Where are yooooou???
I got you a better score today, the only ones I had no idea about was:
What is the New River in Islington - a canal
And what is the most important dock on the River Thames - Tilbury???
I don't go to the big smoke often so was most confuuuuuused.... I hope this meets your high expectations???
My questions were really really hard

I feel a bit of a fraud. I read this thread before I did the quiz today, including Gertie's posts.
Lo and behold there are questions about the most important dock on the Thames and the New River in Islington. So I must thank Gertie in part for today's improbable score.
But the one about Ken Barlow's hairdresser girlfriend was all my own work. (Did I really admit that out loud?)

OOoooooh Winter Hill I do have my uses!!!!
I'm afraid that I knew Ken Barlow's girlfriend too, did you get the window tax question too?? Those one's were Monty's questions so I bet he would have known them all and a lot quicker ....
My own questions were impossible, about who gave Henry VIII and illigitmate son. I thought that it was Ann Boleyn's sister I'm sure I'd read that somewhere... Anyways it was some girl called Elizabeth anyways...
I see Monty is desperate to unmask Bingle so that he/she can look after his trivia account whilst he treks the globe

Way to go, Gertie! I imagine 7 is not bad with this quiz (although I'd have prefered that 9 that someone got ).Gertie wrote:Yeah thanks for the encouragment.Montreal Wanderer wrote:2!

I've changed the category to Movie Trivia. I've done a quick test and think some of you movie buffs will find these too easy. Anyway I'll leave this category on for just over a week (I'm away from Wednesday until a week on Monday).
Hopefully this category may be a little more enjoyable than the last.

This is right up my alley ( )!!! 10/10 at last, including two questions on Grease, arguably the greatest musical movie ever made.
