I think the Aussies will be a bit pi$$Eed at it raining on 135-0 and not looking in much bother, with 120 overs to get another 259...
They most likely will, but O.T.will conveniently be soon forgotten if they get a draw that counts as a win. Dry day and a bit of luck is needed now. Keep the faith.
Oh for sure, they have two goes to our one TD. :-)

Feeling a bit better now they're for 2. These conditions should bring Jimmy back into play as it's certainly moving around...

Oof that's a good hour, what we needed. Could do with sacking Smith off shortly like, for my heart rate.

Indeed. Mind we could always try and change the ball again! This is polar opposite to yesterday, so far...batting been really tricky but some very good bowling in the right places.

Yeah that ball change has definitely helped. Sure they'll be thrilled. Ponting was spitting yesterday, I want to hear what he thinks now we've got 3

Smith played, Stokes had it firmly in his hand. That's a catch and what happened after is immaterial. Smith was OUT...

Inclined to agree. But I can see the counter argument.

Think the rules may have changed TD. I'm sure you only used to require control on the ball for a catch to be considered complete. The rules now say it's only complete when you're completely in control of the ball and your person...don't think there's many questioning the decision...

Stokes knew himself. I think they took his reaction into account

Sure he did, don't think he'd have reviewed it...showing my age here, the bit about being in control of the ball to a later point than "catch completed" came in, in the 1980 edition.😬

Yeah his head slump made it easy for them. Right decision for me, unfortunately. Can't really see how the Starc one could be not out, and that out, anyway.

Rain now. I think at this point anything taking overs out of the game helps, in that they might take a few more risks trying to win it, or shut down completely playing for the draw meaning we can attack. Obviously will need plenty time to get the wickets though!

Classic him right? Absolutely incredible, won't be the centre of attention. Born at the wrong time, that lad.
