Just done Four counties on the bikes, nice steak barm at a little roadside café, sunny day, bikes running top notch and used less than half a tank of fuel, well chuffed!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Just learnt, city girl Jade, seven weeks lost in Yellowstone wilderness after a traffic accident in which she was thrown out of a crashed car has finally been found. Thinner but alive.

She wasn't thrown out because she was kept in a plastic carrier. She bolted when rescue workers pulled the broken case out. Indeed a happy ending.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Just learnt, city girl Jade, seven weeks lost in Yellowstone wilderness after a traffic accident in which she was thrown out of a crashed car has finally been found. Upgraded to a Junior Suite for three nights in what is already a very nice (Bobo recommended) hotel anyway.
And Avis upgraded me to a Merc.
Yours with a fluffy robe

Splashed out on some garden furniture, had it delivered and assembled it last night, and I'm now raring to go. Bought a 'Jamie Oliver' Fire Pit set... one of them jobbies where the fire is in the middle of the table (or the champagne bucket)
Got the meat in, skewered the lamb & veggie kebabs, sausages lined up.
Inaugural blaze is set for 6:30 tonight
I've invited round a few hardy friends who have all signed affidavits about not minding if they spontaneously combust.

Want one! Need a garden first, mind!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Every year we take the dog on holiday to the Llyn peninsula. This year new dog but same cottage. Lady Sainsbury has a cottage tucked into the valley overlooking the sea and there's a lovely clifftop walk that takes you past it. This evening on the way back, with the sun going down, we saw over a dozen porpoise frolicking in the surf.
A passing local said he'd lived there since1986 & never seen them before. A wonderful end to a lovely day

Our accommodation is in the village of Clynog Fawr. The coastal walk is from Trefor harbour Monty.
