Bolton are looking at Rennes defender Jean-Joel Perrier-Doumbe, who spent last week on trial at Celtic. (The Daily Telegraph)
If we gave him 6 squad numbers he could rack-up huge numbers of bookings.
He could be
Jean Perrier
Jean Doumbe
Joel Perrier
Joel Doumbe
Jean-Joel Perrier
Jean-Joel Doumbe
We used to do this when I played in the Lancs Amatuer League. As I was not registered one match I had to be on the teamsheet as some other guy (Dave Jones). I spent THE whole game being shouted to as "Martin" (or, alternatively ... "you usefless git") by my team-mates. Toward the end I was booked gave the ref the name I was playing under & he said "so, that'll be Martin-David Jones then, will it ?"

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
