Quandry 3

Post by Athers » Fri Apr 20, 2007 1:23 pm

I've got a short break in Berlin booked for early May with some mates from work. Flights cost me £60 including taxes..

Today though I got an email from someone else at work inviting me to play 11-a-side at the Emirates Stadium for a day when I'm supposed to be away.

Do I skip Berlin and take the hit in my pocket for the football opportunity, 60,000 red padded seats watching me, probably with my name on the back of my shirt...

Skip Berlin and use the opportunity to leave very sharp objects in Lehman's goalmouth.

Remove 'goal' from that sentence and it's perfect.

Go for Berlin, you'll only regret it if you don't. A football field is a football field....unless it's the Reebok that is.

The likes of Pedersen don't get a chance to play at the Emirates :). I guess it also gives you an opportunity to delve into the pits of the stadium too, whereas Berlin is only a short flight away, seems pretty obvious to me.

A bit off topic, has anyone done the football aid at the Reebok and is it worth doing?

Cheers sluffy. Just checked can't do it this season, the auctioning has closed but reading Commies thoughts it seems a pretty awesome day.

It is indeed. I'm playing a week on Tuesday, Tony Kelly is my player and Mike Witlow the opposition player. Thank the Lord its not David Lee again, I'm sick of him running past me laughing.

It'll cost between £250 and £400 depending on the position you go for - keeper is always cheapest.

Couple o' quid, mate. Well, about six or seven, but well worth it.
