Songs that remind you of summer.

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I think we're alone now

Children behave,
That's what they say when we're together,
And watch how you play,
They don't understand,
And so we're,

Running just as fast as we can,
Holdin' onto one another's hand,
Tryin' to get away into the night,
And then you put your arms around me,
And we tumble to the ground,
And then you say,

I think we're alone now,
There does't seem to be anyone around.
I think we're alone now,
The beating of our hearts is the only sound

This summer (is it? yet?), I'm cursed by Elvis Costello's The Other Side of Summer. Now Costello has made some great music and some utter wank, and that's certainly sidling, if not legging it, toward the latter category.

Yeah shame on you starting another thread that was started before in 2006
Don Henley Boys of Summer or Glenn Frey`s The Heat is on does it for me or even Mungo Jerry`s In The summertime.

Looking back at the first thread there's some great choices. I'll stick with what I had then and add "Bright Elusive Buttefly of Love and Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer". I'll think of more.

You might have had a point if I'd complained about the presence of an existing thread. I merely highlighted the existence of the previous one as I thought it had some good picks in it.

And when the sun goes down and the night's warm, feet up, glass of wine and Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov and of course, Ravel. Ah, roll on summer. :D

Yes oddly enough. Theyve just got a chilled out sat in sun drinking vibe.

Each to their own SJM, but anything by EBTG makes me want to start planning my funeral.

Depeche Mode are usually good for making me think of summer. Oddly enough. I'm strange, me.
