Tango's off to the Costa

Post by TANGODANCER » Tue Jul 10, 2007 8:21 pm

Flying out Thursday for a week in the sun chaps/chapess's, so won't be around to post any nonesense till the 20th or so. I'll be keeping an eye on the news but no pc in sight, just boring old sunshine, beach and a bit of Spanish wine and cuisine. I'll raise a glass or two of ice-cold San Miguel and contemplate my fingermarks in the condensation on the glass as I think of you all. Be around for another day or so then it's up, up and away. :P

Of course. It always is that way everytime I go away. Taken for granted. I'll risk it.

It ain't the swing that's wrong, it's the bit that sits on the shoulders that needs work on. Got to stop thinking like Montgomery and more like Meldrew.

I'd stick to relaxing and drinking the white wine - you wouldn't want to be arrested for impersonating a golfer or anything like that.

Have a good one, TD. If you're going to bring us back a prezzie I think we'd prefer a straw donkey rather than Oscar Perez.

Think it's the costa blanca (top of my head as I can't be bothered looking it up) DSB. My brother lives in El Campelo (pronounced cam payo) between Alicante and Benidorm. Haven't seen him for a while so that's where we're off to. Been three or four times and although it's as yet undiscovered, the beach there is one of the best I've seen.

Love the south and have been to Marbella, Benalmadena, and Nerja (half a dozen times at least) to stay. Also visited Granada, Ronda, Seville, Malaga, Fuengirola etc etc. Spent two Christmas's in Benidorm and that's good.

Just about finished packing and we're off tomorrow. See you all in eight days.

Cheers. Can tell you now it's very modern stuff. Good beat in parts but a sort of rap in Portugese. Haven't listen enough yet but sounds okay.
